EXCITING NEWS

HELLOOO!

Got some exciting news!
Well, at least exciting for me: I WILL BE MOVING! Out of my parents' home. Yes.
Alex is a big girl now.
I will not be moving too far tho only about 40km from here but stiiilll!
My friend an I will be sharing a flat in a bigger city in western Germany and we are thrilled to move into our lovely first flat in June, woheey.

On top of my to-do list is finally having a proper place to be able to blog and take pics and maybe even videos (if anyone is interested!)

Enough of that, I told you I have been to Beauty International Düsseldorf and I will not show you what I got there just yet but I will leave you with my face of that day as I loved my make-up which was kind of based on a clown. Yeaah... But I loved it and I had fun with it.
Sorry for the bad quality it was just a quick phone shot of my face in the break and the camera does not pick uo the colours correctly but here you have it:

It was a bright blue blended eye by sugarpill in afterparty plus some dark blue eyeliner, a pink lip with an (originally) faded blue center which I changed at some point in the day to a heart. Brows, lashes, done. Loved this one much.

DIET AND CHEATING

Hellooooo!

Today I felt like cheating.
Not on my (imaginary) boyfriend but on my diet!
Usually I try to follow a  raw vegan lifestyle which is the 80/10/10 diet if you already tried it out you will love it but for someone without a sweet toth (in particular: me) it is hard to be a 100% consequent. But still I try to stick to it most of the time. Not this morning 'tho.

So here's my first "food post" with instructions on how to make vegan chololate croissants!
I'ts not difficult at all and you only need two things!

To begin with you need: vegan fluff paste (often they use milk/butter in it so be careful 'bout that!) and vegan chocolate spread (you can also use cheese cream or jam if you like)

Unroll the fluff paste so it is flat and with a knife you first cut it half, then you cut those halves diagonal.
(TIP: leave the paste outside of the fridge for at least 5mins so it can warm up otherwise it will crack like it did on the left side)

Then you spread some of your chocolate on one of the triangles and start rolling it up from the long side

Important: try to roll it that way that the very peak is just in the middle of your croissant!

Roll it all up but don't get it too tight otherwise it won't be as fluffy as it's supposed to

Your finished result sould look something like that

 Then bend it

 Et voilà!

If you messed some of the paste up like me you can still make mini-croissants out of the rest
....

Then you put everything into the oven.
I use air circulation and about 180° (sould be between 350-375 fahrenheit or 4/5 on gas) and I leave them in the oven for about 15-22 minutes.

DONE!

So this is how they sould look like after about 17 minutes. I must admit I did only eat one of those little devils. Not 'cause I'm afraid to gain weight but simply because I really want to stick to my 80/10/10 diet as I know how much better I feel eating mostly raw fruit and greens so I had one croissant along with an orange and two bananas.

Thank you very much for your attention<3

SPIKY SPIKE

Alohaaaa!
Hello and good bye!
.
..
...
NO, not yet! Two posts within two days, huh? Pretty amazing I'd say!
Just a quick 'what's on my eyes'!
So I've been growing back my eyebrows so they are all bushy and thick. Or at least they look as if they are when they are filled in, hah!
Okay, here we go:
As a base I used a matte grey shadow on the lid with  Alva's pigment 'Autumn Joy' on top.
As for the spiky liner I mixed some Alva pigment in 'Promise' with a mixing solution and applied it in downwards strokes with my Real Techniques  'fine liner brush' to get the rough shape of the liner. Once done I filled them in with the same mixture and applied dots in between the gaps. As the last step I put another darker liner just across the lash line to darken things up. Mascara and DONE!

SHOUTING A HUGE HELLO TOWARDS YOU!
I haven't blogged in two months as I ran out of ideas at the moment.
Well actually, no!
I did not run out of ideas but I still wait for the "right time" to continue blogging I guess?
My friend Anna and I are planning on moving together (FIRST FLAT! SO EXCITING!!) but this takes way more time than we thought it would! So basically we've been searching for more than two months now (ughhh!!) and until I don't have a proper place to shoot (and maybe film??...) it is too stressful to do it in my teeny-tiny room!

Buuuuuut: I've been visiting Beauty International in Düsseldorf, Germany this weekend and got a few nice things which I will show you in my next post!

Will leave you with a picture of what I did quite a few months ago!
I thought it was fun, my boss hated it tho! She found it very creepy but I loved it!

As you might already have noticed I'm a big fan of freakish stuff like make-up that makes you look sick and this one is another attempt of doing something different: I bleached my eyebrows!

xoxo

Dear CREEPS:

You know, I've had a bad day.
Went to the uni library to study for exams as I can't study at home.
Could not concentrate and was feeling weird all day long so I quit studying for the day.
Around 9pm I made my way back home but missed the train which resulted in having to wait for the next one.
Ustally my appearence is described as: arrogant, cocky,... basically "resting-bitch-face".
And I am FINE with that.
It keeps strangers from talking to me.

Well, well, well. Not today. Not this time.

I was standing in front of a closed "Deutsche Bahn" service center (9pm, remember?)
earphones, music, cold, wanting to get home as quickly as possible, usual resting-bitch-face.
This was the moment everything went down the tubes.

This man comes up.

+45y., partly bald, entirely creepy.

Man: *insert blabla* (wasn't able to understand anything as I was listening to music)
Me: Mh, what?
Man: Ich wollte dich fragen,...
Me: I'm sorry. I don't understand German [inner monologue: what a cheeky little liar you are, Alex]

Usually in Germany this sentence gets people to get off your back 'cause especially older people don't speak english that well.
Not this time. His English was pretty good. [ugh, shit.]

Man: Oh, where do you come from?
Me: Russia. [here goes lie number 2]

Again: usually this answer gets people to back off and again: not this time.
Instead this guy actually could speak Russian! [you gotta be fucking kidding me]

Man: (in Russian) Oh, lovely! How are you? Where do you come from?
Me: (in Russian) Good, thanks. Moscow. [#2 and #3]
Man: (continuing in English) Awesome! What do you do here?
Me: Visiting family. [#4]
[awkward silence]
Man: Well, I just visited this exhibition in Bochum called "Koerperwelten". You know what that is?
Me: Mh,.. [yes. fuck off] No.
Man: Well you should! It's about dead people and,..
Me: I don't like dead people [stopped counting lies at that point].
Man: Well,... where are you going?
Me: Home.
Man: Home? Which city?
Me: Uhm,.. Erm.. Dortmund [L.I.E]
Man: We'll be on the same train then! I'm going to Guetersloh!
Me:... [please, no]
Man: So,... What's your name?
Me: I think that is none of your business.
Man: Oh well,.. [awkward silence again] So,... [stop fucking staring at me] What did you do here?
Me: Erm,.. You know what I feel very uncomfortable talking to strangers. So I will leave now.
Man: But then you can't talk to anybody!
Me: I talk to my friends.
Man: Well,.. We could be friends.
.
..
...
[§%$&%/\][{{"$§%{{[]$ !!!!!!!!!!!]

Me: I[NO]don't[NO].think[NO].so[NO]. I am waiting for someone and will go now.
Man: Okay, bye.

At this point I realized we've been observed by some students and I was getting "we all know you did not tell the truth"-looks when I hurried out.
That went well, huh?
Story's now over yet I promise.

So I was standing outside, listening to music, playing hide and seek with Mr. Creep McFucking CreepCreepCreep.
5 mins before the train was supposed to arrive I made my way up to the platform where my "friend" was waiting for me.
Me, quickly getting my phone out and pretending as if I was talking to my friend whilst getting as far away from him as possible.
Now you can have a guess who came up to me. Again.
Just a small hint: It was not Johnny Depp.

Man: There is a train that is running late but I asked someone and it's not our train.
Me: Well, thanks.
[awkward silence. again.]
Man: So,.. how do you like Germany?
Me: It's okay. [§$%%&%$§"!"§$%!!!!!]
Man: You came here in the wrong season! But I bet it is much colder in Moscow!
Me:...
Man: I always wanted to visit Moscow. Maybe you could be my guide?
Me: No. I don't think so. [like, fuck, WHAT? no fucking NO, N.O, N-OOOOO]
Man: Why not?
Me: Erm, I need to call and my friend. Now.
Man: Okay, see you later then!

This was the moment I realized he would be following me on the train so I quickly went to a friendly looking guy who happened to be also a student at my university and whispered "HELP! Will explain everything in detail later but for now just act as if we know each other. You see this man over there? He's fucking scary and stalking me. . He will be following me on the train and I told him I am waiting for a friend which will be you. But we will have to talk in English. HELP!!"
You should have seen his facial expression.
After he agreed to help me in this situation we entered the train, trying not to bump into the dude again.
Don't think I need to mention he was stalking the train for me.
Somehow we managed to escape from him and sat down so I could tell him the whole story which he found very funny but at the same time upsetting.

Sooo, this was my lovely evening and now after typing everything down I feel much better.
Thank you for your kind attention, or not, good night!
